These presentations are designed to enable educators to implement equitable access for multilingual children in order to maximize their learning and development in their home languages as well as English language development.
The Orientation Module provides the foundational knowledge about WIDA Early Years, asset-based approaches to instruction, and the WIDA Early Years Guiding Principles and is required before providers take additional trainings in the WIDA Early Years series.

This presentation provides hands-on opportunities to embed two important Essential Actions into your daily classroom activities:
Essential Action #10: Provide opportunities for all dual language learners to engage in higher level thinking.
Essential #11: Identify the purposes of the language used during routines and learning experiences
Coaching sessions are included at no cost to assist with classroom implementation to fidelity. PAUs may be awarded for credentialed participants.

Develop financial reports and identify ways to help you better manage your program’s finances. Gain a better understanding of how internal controls support and strengthen the fiscal health of programs.
March 21, 2023 Module #3 – Marketing Your Program (COK: 3 hours professionalism)
What is marketing and why is it important? The purpose of this training is to strengthen your understanding of marketing tools, audiences, and elements necessary to develop a marketing plan. Learn to tailor your marketing practices to the audience you are trying to reach and develop effective communication strategies to promote your services.

Recruiting and Retaining Staff for Center-Based Childcare Providers This module supports childcare administrators in their efforts to strengthen systems of staff recruitment and improve their ability to retain quality staff. This presentation reinforces the belief that sound business practices improve the sustainability of childcare businesses. Strong and sustainable childcare businesses support program initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for children through careful selection and guidance of staff.
